Atishi's oath is possible on 21st

New Delhi. Atishi, the new leader of the Aam Aadmi Party’s legislative party, may be sworn in as Chief Minister on September 21. Delhi’s Deputy Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena on Wednesday sent Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation to President Draupadi Murmu for approval. He has also sent a proposal to the President for the swearing-in of the new Chief Minister Atishi on September 21.

Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal, who has resigned from the post of Chief Minister, has decided to leave his government residence. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said on Wednesday that all the party leaders told Kejriwal not to leave the government residence for security reasons, but he did not listen. It is worth noting that a day earlier, on Tuesday, 17 September, Atishi was elected as the new leader in the AAP Legislature Party meeting. After this, Kejriwal met the Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena in the evening and submitted his resignation.

However, a day after Kejriwal’s resignation, Sanjay Singh said – Kejriwal is going to leave all his government facilities. We are worried. Kejriwal has been attacked many times. Even when his parents were at home, they were attacked. It is not yet decided where Kejriwal will stay. He has said that he will stay among the public, the place is not decided yet. The Aam Aadmi Party government has called a two-day special session of the Vidhan Sabha on 26 and 27 September after the oath of the new Chief Minister.
