There is no doubt that Prashant Kishor has been the country’s greatest election strategist and manager. He conducted a padyatra in Bihar and thereafter changed his Jan Suraj campaign to Jan Suraj Party. There is no problem in this also. But the way he has selected candidates for the by-election has raised questions on his management. By-elections are being held on four seats and after choosing the by-elections for four seats, they had to change two candidates. They say that they will choose candidates after taking public opinion and from among the public, yet they have had to change two candidates. One of these candidates had to be changed due to such a mistake, which is unthinkable that Prashant Kishor could make such a mistake.
In fact, he made Lieutenant General SK Singh, the former Deputy Chief of the Indian Army, the candidate from Tarari seat. There was a big discussion about this because till date only two people from Bihar have become Deputy Army Chief, one of whom is General SK Singh. After the announcement of his candidature, it was revealed that he is not a voter in Bihar at all. Think, without knowing whether General Singh, who lives in Noida, is a voter in Bihar or not, PK made him the candidate. Later, Kiran Singh was given the ticket in his place.
Similarly, on Belaganj seat, Prashant Kishore had earlier nominated famous mathematics teacher Khilafat Hussain as his candidate. But just a few days after the announcement of the name, he replaced Khilafat Hussain and made Mohammad Amjad the candidate. It is being told that Amjad was his first choice but he refused to contest the elections due to lack of money. But later PK convinced him and prepared him to contest the elections. However, whatever the reason, this has raised questions about his image of being a great strategist.
