BJP members rebelled after their tickets were cut

People may have considered the discontent in BJP over the Haryana assembly election tickets as a rebellion, but the party finds it suitable for returning to power. It is not a trivial matter to cut the tickets of 15 MLAs including four ministers, yet BJP is said to be unconcerned. Returning to power in Haryana has become a challenge for the party. This challenge has become even more difficult with former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda taking charge of the election. But if there is no other way, what can the party do? Or you can say that BJP’s hands are tied. There is discontent among the people in the state for the last decade. To remove this discontent, the party even had to change the Chief Minister, but instead of improving, the situation worsened and now when the last weapon is ticket distribution, then after discontent, there is a rebellion in the party. It is a different matter that after ten years in power, the anti-government sentiment among the people is not a new thing. And if you think that this problem will be solved by changing the faces, then consider it a delusion. Election results have been showing that the anti-incumbency sentiment has always been against the government. But in elections like the Vidhan Sabha, the party does not gain anything by experimenting with changing the faces of the MLAs. The party has already done a similar experiment in the corporation elections in Delhi. When the party leaders themselves openly propagated corruption, the party fought the elections by changing the faces, the party won and also returned to power in the corporation. But this experiment of BJP in Haryana will be successful this time, even the party leaders are not sure about it. In the 90-member Haryana Vidhan Sabha, 40 seats were won in the last elections, which means that tickets of more than one-third of the MLAs have been cut this time. Now it remains to be seen which way the camel will turn this time, but the BJP is also repeating that this strategy has proved beneficial for the party in other states.

BJP will bet on the beaten pieces!

With the Delhi Assembly elections coming closer, the market of speculations in BJP has heated up. Along with this, the discussion of former MPs has also started. It is a different matter whether these former MPs will continue to be called former even after the elections or the people of Delhi will give them the right to be called MLAs instead of former MPs. We are talking about former MPs Meenakshi Lekhi, Pravesh Verma and Ramesh Vidhuri. There is a general discussion in BJP that the party will create an atmosphere in the elections by betting on them in the assembly elections and all three can be trying to get themselves declared as the future Chief Minister in their own way so that the possibility of victory can be created on the nearby seats as well. But people in the party itself are not denying the possibility of their condition becoming anonymous and becoming history like the former Mayor of Delhi, former MP, former National General Secretary Anita Arya. But not only Anita Arya, the name of former Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, who renounced electoral politics during Modi’s tenure, can be added. Also, Vijay Goyal, who started his political career from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and was a veteran leader, is spending his days taking care of Bapu’s charkha. Otherwise, what was lacking in Vijay Goyal or Dr. Harsh Vardhan compared to today’s BJP leaders? Well, what arrows did they shoot for the party while trying to bet on the leaders on whom the party was trying to play their bets? Some betrayed their own people during the Lok Sabha elections, some abused their own colleagues, behaved disrespectfully and used abusive language inside the Parliament, while some considered their MPship as a throne and kept a distance from the voters, let alone a few sycophants of their own party, for the entire five years. But if it is Jugaadki politics, who will even ask the veterans? But if people are commenting on former MPs becoming CMs that the condition of these leaders is not new as Chobeji had gone to become Chhabbe and Lote Dubbe. And then there is no dearth of people who create trouble in BJP.

When Kejriwal was released the colour of the election changed

Will the fate of the cat i.e. BJP be able to break the spell of Haryana elections? The question is a bit complicated but in the political corridors, as much as the parties are worried about the elections, they are probably as worried about the answer to this question. Especially after the release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from jail. The BJP leaders who were cursing Kejriwal till yesterday are now silent. Neither are they saying bad things about Kejriwal getting bail nor are they making any statements. It is possible that after the Supreme Court granted bail to Kejriwal and reprimanded the CBI, the BJP leaders are understanding the electoral game of the party. The BJP, which has been in power in Haryana for the last one decade, is seeing the power slipping out of its hands in these elections and that is why the BJP leaders are worried about Kejriwal’s bail. Who gets the power in Haryana this time is a different matter but the tension of the BJP can be read and understood. The contest in the Haryana elections is going to be triangular. That is, between the BJP, Congress and the AAP. People may say that before Kejriwal was granted bail, BJP was confident that the Dalit and backward votes that had shifted from Congress to AAP would shift from AAP to Congress again, which would benefit BJP. But with Kejriwal getting bail and Congress and AAP not being able to form an alliance, BJP’s calculations of winning got a little messed up. And BJP asked party leaders and workers not to make statements about AAP. BJP hopes that after Congress and AAP not forming an alliance and Kejriwal being granted bail, AAP will contest the elections with full force and cut Congress’ votes, which will benefit BJP. But if the people of Haryana themselves say that the people of Haryana are fed up with BJP’s rule or that an anti-government wave has started in Haryana, then why would BJP be surprised? There was already a whisper in political corridors that Kejriwal is sure to get bail in any case before the elections, no matter which leader is putting pressure. Now even though Congress is proud of forming the government in the state with the help of former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, but after Kejriwal got bail, the Congress’s concern has increased a bit that it may face difficulties in some seats of Haryana Assembly adjacent to Punjab where Congress had hopes. Now it remains to be seen who wins and who loses in Haryana.
