BJP released second list of Maharashtra

Mumbai Bharatiya Janata Party, which is contesting the maximum number of seats in Maharashtra, released the second list of its candidates on Saturday. There are names of 22 candidates in it. The party had announced 99 candidates in the first list. BJP has so far announced the names of 121 candidates. There is only one woman candidate in the party’s second list. The party has given ticket to Devyani Suhas Farande from Nashik Central. In the second list, there are three reserved seats for Scheduled Tribe and two reserved seats for Scheduled Caste.

BJP, which is part of the ruling grand alliance, has so far declared candidates on 121 seats, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena on 35 seats and Ajit Pawar’s NCP on 38 seats. In this way, 194 candidates of Mahayuti have been announced. On October 20, BJP had released the first list of 99 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Of these, six seats were for ST and four seats were for SC. Whereas, women were given tickets on 13 seats. In this way, the party has so far given tickets to 14 women. BJP is yet to declare candidates on about 35 seats.
