Bomb threat on five flights

New Delhi. For the second time in a week, there has been a bomb threat on planes. This time five planes received bomb threats. All the planes were going to foreign destinations. One of these flights was Air India’s flight from Delhi to Chicago. The plane was diverted to Canada after a bomb threat. The plane landed at Iqaluit Airport in Canada. There the passengers and their luggage were checked. This plane took off from Delhi at 3 am on Tuesday.

Security agencies conducted counter-terrorist drills at several airports after five flights were threatened throughout the day. Investigation revealed that all the threats were sent by the same person on social media platform X. Due to this, several hundred passengers had to face problems. However, later these threats turned out to be false. Three flights taking off from Mumbai were given bomb threats. The first flight was of Air India going from Mumbai to New York. It was diverted to Delhi. The second flight was of IndiGo, which was going from Mumbai to Muscat, while the third flight was going from Mumbai to Jeddah. Bomb messages were sent to all the flights from four different handles on the social media platform X.

Earlier on October 9, information about a bomb was received on Vistara Airlines flight UK18 coming from London to Delhi. About three and a half hours before the flight reached Delhi, a passenger saw a threatening tissue paper in the toilet of the plane. He informed the crew. Despite this, the plane continued flying for three and a half hours. After landing in Delhi, all the passengers and their luggage as well as the aircraft were checked. That threat also turned out to be false.
