Bhopal. In the last few months, investor summits have been organized in Ujjain, Jabalpur and Gwalior in the state. Regional Industries Conclave is going to be held in Sagar on 27 September for which preparations are going on in full swing at the local level. The people of Bundelkhand are hoping that this time some such achievement will be achieved which will accelerate the development in Bundelkhand on the ground.
Actually, the objective of holding Regional Industries Conclave is to establish industries according to the need at local level. For this, large scale investment is necessary. The way voices are being raised continuously to remove the backwardness of Bundelkhand, it is once again expected that this time this summit will leave Sagar with a gift. Ever since Dr. Mohan Yadav started organizing investor summits in the state as the Chief Minister, the maximum investment proposals of 1 lakh crore were received in the cities where the summits have been held so far, Ujjain, the hometown of the Chief Minister. After this, proposals of more than 22,000 crores came in Jabalpur and Regional Industries Conclave was started in Gwalior and investment proposals of about 8,000 crores came.
However, a regional industry conclave is going to be held on 27 September at PTC Ground in Sagar, the headquarter of Bundelkhand. Preparations are being made for it at the local level. At the same time, continuous monitoring is also being done from the capital Bhopal. Due to this, discussions have started on the decline of Sagar’s ancient and famous bidi industry and agarbatti industry and a debate has also started on reviving these industries.
However, a large section wants big industries to come to Sagar, just as the expansion of Bina refinery in Sagar district can bring a lot of investment in the fields of agriculture, textile, energy and electronics. In this way, world famous diamonds, emeralds, iron ore and mineral wealth are present inside the land of Bundelkhand. If investment comes in industries related to these, then such industries will be very important for the development of the region. Important units of small industries can also be set up. Tomatoes of Sagar district go to Mumbai and come back in the form of tomato ketchup, the cost of which increases due to transportation. If this industry is set up in Sagar district, then it can be prepared at a lower cost. The possibilities of many such industries are rising in Sagar.
Overall, people have once again placed their hopes on the Investor Summit to be held in Sagar. Only the investment proposals that come in and the industries that come into existence will tell how much oil is left in the flickering lamps of hope of the people of Bundelkhand.
