CM Yogi met Mohit Pandey's family

Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday met the family members of deceased businessman Mohit Pandey at his government residence in Lucknow. Pandey died on 26 October in Chinhat police station. The family alleged that Mohit died due to beating. He directed the victim’s family to provide Rs 10 lakh, housing, free education for children and benefits of government schemes. CM Yogi assured the victim’s family that strict action will be taken against the culprits. The culprits will not be spared under any circumstances. Mohit Pandey’s mother Tapeshwari Devi, wife and children reached the official residence of Chief Minister Yogi on Monday morning. Here he expressed his pain before the Chief Minister. CM provided financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to Mohit’s family. Also directed to provide benefits of all government schemes including housing and free education of children.

After meeting CM Yogi, Mohit Pandey’s family looked satisfied. Mohit’s mother Tapeshwari Devi said that we are satisfied after meeting the Chief Minister. He told that CM Yogi said that the matter is in his cognizance. There will be no laxity of any kind in this matter. Whoever is found guilty after investigation, strictest action will be taken against him. BJP MLA Yogesh Kumar Shukla and councilor Shailendra Verma were also present during the meeting. Let us tell you that the politics of the state has heated up after the death of a youth in police custody at Chinhat police station in Lucknow. In this matter, Lucknow Police Commissioner took major action on Sunday and removed Chinhat police station in-charge (SHO) Ashwini Chaturvedi from his post, while in his place Sub Inspector Bharat Pathak was appointed as the new station in-charge of Chinhat police station.
