He not only assured the victim’s family of strict action against the culprits. While talking to Chief Minister Yogi, Ram Gopal’s parents burst into tears several times. The elderly father kept wiping tears with his towel several times. The victim’s family has demanded justice. Chief Minister Yogi assured financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the victim’s family and a government job to one member of the family. While talking to the media after this meeting, MLA Sureshwar Singh said that the CM told the victim’s family that strict action will be taken against those who have done wrong. Apart from this, they will also be provided financial assistance.
It is noteworthy that Ram Gopal Mishra was shot dead in a dispute during Durga Idol Immersion in Maharajganj town of Bahraich on Sunday, after which violence broke out. After this violence, there is an atmosphere of tension in the area. Many shops were burnt at the hospital intersection in the violence. Till now 30 people have been arrested in this case and sent to jail. Police are examining CCTV footage regarding this violence. Police said that strict action will be taken against all the accused involved in this case. Internet service has been banned at the incident site.
