Conspiracy to derail train in Ajmer fails, cement block found on track

Ajmer. After Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, the conspiracy to derail the train in Ajmer, Rajasthan has been foiled. On Monday night, cement blocks weighing about one quintal were placed on the railway track at two places between Saradhana and Bangar Gram railway stations on Ajmer’s Dedicated Freight Corridor, so that the train could be derailed. However, a major accident was averted. It is being told that the train went ahead breaking the cement blocks placed on the railway track. It is a matter of relief that the train did not crash. The train was going from Phulera to Ahmedabad, when the train driver stopped the train due to the sound of the block hitting the engine, then the whole incident came to light. Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation (DFCC) employees Ravi Bundela and Vishwajit Das have lodged an FIR with the police in this matter. After this, the police has started investigating the matter.

Railway employees have stated in the FIR that on September 9, at 10:36 pm, information was received that someone had placed a cement block on the railway track. Railway staff reached the spot and found that the block had broken and fallen off the railway line. Another block was placed on the side at a distance of one km ahead of the incident site. Both these blocks kept at different places are being investigated. After this, DFCC and Railway Protection Force (RPF) together also did patrolling between Saradhana and Bangar Gram station. During this time the situation was found to be normal. After this, the operation of trains was started further. Police is seriously investigating the matter. Police officials say that it will be possible to say something only after investigation in the matter.
