Aam Aadmi Party has performed very poorly in the Haryana Assembly elections. He had contested elections on 89 seats and his deposits have been forfeited on all the seats. However, his performance has improved compared to last time. Last time it had got half a percent of the votes, whereas this time it has managed to get around 1.80 percent of the votes. Not only this, it reduced so many votes in five assembly seats, due to which Congress lost. That is, just as 10 independent candidates defeated Congress by cutting its votes, similarly Aam Aadmi Party defeated Congress on five seats. That’s why the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have tweeted a lot of poetry and made Congress realize that if they had fought together then both sides would have been happy. Was also reminded of Lok Sabha elections.
But it is not that Aam Aadmi Party is sad after such a bad result. Informed sources say that after the results, Kejriwal and his close leaders expressed satisfaction and heaved a sigh of relief that Congress did not win. Aam Aadmi Party is also happy that its account has been opened in Jammu and Kashmir. It contested elections on seven seats and won the Doda seat. However, it was a victory for the candidate because in the remaining six seats, AAP got one-third of the votes that NOTA got. The second happiness is that Congress did not win in Haryana. If Congress had won in Haryana, it would have paved the way for Congress’s comeback in Delhi. In Mewat and NCR areas adjacent to Delhi, Muslims and Jats are completely with Congress. This equation could be repeated in Delhi. Although the victory of Haryana has boosted the morale of BJP, but if Congress had won, the challenge would have been bigger.
