Dev Deepawali 2024: On the occasion of Dev Diwali, devotees from India and abroad will gather to see the beautiful scene of Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi on 15th November.
The scene of the flickering of lamps decorated on the banks of the crescent-shaped Ganga and the supernatural aarti of Maa Ganga will be even more special this year, as it will be telecast live on the website for the first time.
Prime Minister and Kashi MP Narendra Modi will also witness this amazing view from Delhi, making the event even more historic.
For the first time, Dev Diwali will be telecast live on the website by Niganga Seva Nidhi, and it will be launched on 15th November.

Ganga Seva Nidhi President Sushant Mishra gave information about this to journalists on Tuesday. He told that this will be the first opportunity when people from India and abroad will be able to watch Dev Diwali live through the website.
The website gangasevanidhi.in will be launched on the same day. This year, Shaurya Rajat Jayanti is also being celebrated, and during Ganga Aarti, under the ‘Ek Sankalp Ganga Kinare’ campaign, lakhs of people will take a pledge together to make Mother Ganga clean and clear, environment and water conservation.
1 Brahmins will worship Mother Ganga in Vedic manner. 42 girls will remain in the form of Riddhi-Siddhi. During this time, 10 volunteers of Sri Ram Janam Yogi’s conch shell and Srikashi Vishwanath Damru Dal will worship Mother Ganga with the sound of Damru. At the same time, Dashashwamedh Ghat will be decorated with decorative flowers from Kolkata and Guwahati apart from Banaras.

He will be the chief guest in the program
On behalf of Ganga Seva Nidhi, the chief guests of the Dev Diwali Mahotsav will be NDRF Director General Piyush Anand, Indian Army Lieutenant General Anindya Sen Gupta, Sadhguru Riteshwar Maharaj of Sri Anandam Dham Trust Vrindavan, Mahant Shankarpuri of Annapurna Temple and state ministers.

Bhojpuri artist Mohan Rathore will perform with nine friends in the cultural evening. Apart from this, there will be performances by classical singer Professor Revati Sakalkar and other artists.
Soldiers will give guard of honor
39 GTC personnel will also give last post and guard of honour. At the same time, senior officers of Varanasi Police Commissionerate, Commanding RPF (NER), Commanding CISF, Air Officer Commanding, 4 Air Force Selection Board, 39 GTC, Varanasi Director General NDRF and other jawans will pay homage to Amar Jawan Jyoti by laying wreath in front of them.

Bhagirath Shaurya Samman will be given to martyred Colonel MN Roy, Lieutenant Colonel JR Chitnis, Surendralal Srivastava, Vinod Kumar Yadav, Ramesh Yadav, Ravi Sharma, Sonu Yadav in the memory of the brave warriors of the country.
Surveillance will be done through 24 CCTV cameras
During the Aarti of Bhagwati Maa Ganga, lakhs of devotees coming from India and abroad will be screened with 24 CCTV cameras along with a large number of security forces. Hanuman Yadav and Surjit Singh told that 100 volunteers of Bharat Sevashram Sangh will be deployed with security equipment.
