Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that this year Dussehra festival will be celebrated with weapon worship. All the ministers will worship the weapons in the police armory of the districts under their charge. Dr Yadav said this in his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The meeting started in the ministry with the singing of Vande Mataram under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. He said that he himself will worship the weapons on Dussehra in Maheshwar, the capital of Lokmata Ahilya Devi, as a symbol of salutation to women power and strength. The Chief Minister said that the meeting of the Council of Ministers on October 5 will be held in Sangrampur of Damoh district. The organization of this meeting is a manifestation of the state government’s respect towards Rani Durgavati. The Chief Minister was handed over a certificate by London’s T-4 Education Institute to Ratlam’s Vinoba CM Rise School for being included in the top three finalists in the innovation category of the World’s Best School Award-2024. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Chaitanya Kashyap handed over this certificate to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav before the cabinet meeting in the ministry.
Dr. Yadav said that the process of nomination for soybean procurement is starting in the state. All ministers and public representatives should ensure nomination of maximum number of farmers. Procure quality soybean at support price. He has said that the next Regional Industry Conclave will be held in Sagar on 27 September. In the same sequence, regional industry conclaves will also be organized in Rewa, Narmadapuram and Shahdol by December 2024. He informed that the road show held in Kolkata and the discussion session with industrialists and investors have received an encouraging response. More than 700 industrialists and investors participated in the road show and discussion session in Kolkata and showed interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh. As a result of the discussion held in the Kolkata session, an investment of about Rs 20 thousand crore is possible in the state, which will provide employment to more than 10 thousand people. 16 major industrial groups of the country are interested in setting up units in the state. In this sequence, Birla Group will set up a cement unit in Badnagar (Ujjain).
Efforts are also being made to encourage the traditional industries of the state. Dr. Yadav said that in the last 12 years, there has been a 14-fold increase in the state in the field of renewable energy. There is a possibility of 14-fold increase in this direction in the next two years. For this, the implementation of the action plan set in the state is being ensured. Under the Gramonnayan Abhiyan, works like Ayushman, LPG, Mobile Medical Unit, Skill Development, Home-stay, Rural Electrification, Telecom Activity are being implemented in villages with less than 500 population in 259 development blocks of 51 districts of tribal areas. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the beneficiaries of the schemes and programs being implemented for development and public welfare should be directly introduced and communicated with the villagers.
