Experiment like Surat, Indore did not work in Jharkhand

Bharatiya Janata Party had conducted two experiments in the Lok Sabha elections. However, it is generous of the party that it did not patent it. But later on it will be established in Indian politics in the name of Surat Experiment and Indore Experiment. The Congress candidate in Surat was Nilesh Kumbhani. He had filed nomination in four sets and had made his relatives or acquaintances proposers in all of them. At the time of scrutiny of nomination, the proposers gave an affidavit before the election officer stating that the name of their candidate was wrong. After this, Kumbhani’s nomination paper was canceled and the nomination papers of other candidates were returned. In this way Mukesh Dalal of BJP won the election unopposed. For the first time in the history of India, a Lok Sabha MP won unopposed. The second experiment was of Indore, where Congress candidate Akshay Bam withdrew his name. Although BJP could not get the names of the remaining candidates returned in time, hence voting took place but the victory of the BJP candidate was already decided.

An attempt to conduct a similar experiment was made in Jharkhand, which was not successful. Chief Minister Hemant Soren had filed nomination from Barhait seat of Jharkhand. His proposer was Mandal Murmu, a descendant of the great freedom fighters Siddho Murmu and Kanho Murmu. Last Saturday, Hemant Soren’s team got the news that Mandal Murmu is in touch with BJP leaders. Due to this, JMM leaders became active and started searching for the proposal board Murmu. It was alleged that the Chief Minister’s proposer had been kidnapped. On this basis, along with JMM workers, the police also started searching for him. On Sunday, the search team found Mandal Murmu. When the police and JMM workers stopped his car, it was found that he was going somewhere with two BJP leaders. Somehow the JMM people took him with them.

But interestingly, Mandal Murmu denied that he was kidnapped. He also said that just because he is a proponent of Hemant Soren it does not mean that he cannot meet or meet BJP leaders. The game behind the scenes is not yet open but it is clear that BJP had made some efforts. BJP MP from Godda Nishikant Dubey had also posted a picture with Mandal Murmu on social media. Well, somehow Hemant Soren saved his proposer. But it seems that this has displeased the Election Commission. It has been reported quoting informed sources that Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar, in a meeting with the Election Officer of Jharkhand and other officials, expressed his displeasure over how the police stopped the car of an ordinary citizen and if there was any suspicion, the car was stopped. So why was it not videographed and when no illegal money or liquor etc. was found in the vehicle, why was the vehicle not abandoned? Some officers are also the targets of both the parties in this matter. At the time when efforts were being made to break the proposal of Hemant Soren, BJP had not declared the candidate from Barheth seat. After this game went wrong, Gamaliel Hembram was given the ticket.
