Bhopal. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has attacked the government regarding the deepening fertilizer crisis in Madhya Pradesh and said that if the farmers of the state are worried about fertilizers, the state government is busy in election campaigning and events. Former Chief Minister of the state Kamal Nath said on Saturday that the farmers of Madhya Pradesh are facing fertilizer crisis and the government is busy in events and election campaigning instead of providing relief to the farmers. Surprisingly, the severe fertilizer crisis continues even in the home district of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and former Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. Farmers are staying awake the whole night waiting to get fertiliser, the government is engrossed in its fun by closing its eyes and ears. Kamal Nath further said, “Data shows that due to the negligence and short-sightedness of the government, there has been very little supply of fertilizer in proportion to the total demand, which is why farmers are not able to get adequate quantity of fertilizer. When there is a fertilizer crisis in the Union Agriculture Minister’s state Madhya Pradesh and especially in his home district Sehore, then you can imagine the situation in the entire state and the country.
The slogan of double engine government has become solid. Now double destruction continues. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath told Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, “The fertilizer crisis is not a natural disaster. This is the result of your government’s neglect and incomplete preparations by the Agriculture Department. It is the responsibility of the government to arrange adequate quantity of fertilizers and seeds for the farmers in advance, so that the balance of demand and supply is maintained, but your government is so busy in spreading hatred and fighting among the people that the fertilizers and seeds are not available. Like important tasks do not remain on priority. He said that Congress is making allegations of fertilizer crisis, but the government is claiming to provide adequate fertilizer to the farmers. Not only this, it is being said that there will be more allocation this year compared to last year.
