Therefore, the government should tell the general public as well as the court that due to the fireworks, property worth billions of rupees gets destroyed every year, due to which the lives of dumb animals are put in danger, due to which the fireworks Crores of asthma patients across the country suffer, due to which people are losing their eyesight and hearing ability, due to which people are fighting among themselves to stop the noise and smoke of firecrackers, burdening the police and courts. That firecracker cannot be a part of any religion or tradition.
The firecrackers should be completely stopped. Neither in weddings, nor on Diwali-Holi, nor on Eid-Baravafat, nor on Christmas-New Year. Without wasting time in discussing what happened before 1947 and then from 1947 to 2024, there is a strong need to impose a complete ban on firecrackers in the larger public interest. The act of spreading the smell of gunpowder should be stopped and firecrackers should be banned nationwide, 365 days a year, without any religious discrimination. Firecrackers have no place in any civilized society and the only option is to completely ban the production and sale of firecrackers which emit foul smell of gunpowder. There will be no bamboo and no sound of flute.
