Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is leaving CM House

New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is vacating his official residence. This residence, located in Civil Lines near Delhi Assembly, was allotted to him when he was the Chief Minister. On Friday, October 4, Arvind Kejriwal has started vacating the CM residence. For this, vehicles and employees associated with packers and movers have reached the CM bungalow. Giving official information, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that Kejriwal will vacate the Chief Minister’s residence along with all his belongings and family on Friday itself. The new residence of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will now be in New Delhi. He will live in a government residence provided to MPs in New Delhi. This residence has been allotted to Aam Aadmi Party MP Ashok Mittal. This official residence of Ashok Mittal has now become the temporary residence of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Recently, Arvind Kejriwal had resigned from his post. In fact, allegations have been made against Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquor Policy, after which he had to go to jail.

Announcing his resignation after coming out of jail, Arvind Kejriwal had said that working with this stain is a far cry, I cannot even live with this stain, I cannot even survive. I had thought in my mind that I would not sit on the chair again until the court acquitted me honorably. But the lawyers told me that this case can continue for 10-15 years. I thought that I will go to the court of my people, ask the public, let the public tell me whether I am dishonest or whether I am honest. After resigning, Arvind Kejriwal had talked about leaving the government residence. Since then, efforts were being made to find a new house for Arvind Kejriwal. In the process of finding a residence for the former Chief Minister, many Aam Aadmi Party leaders, councilors, MLAs and MPs had offered their houses. Apart from Aam Aadmi Party leaders and councilors, many other people from Delhi had also offered their residence to Arvind Kejriwal. However, the search for a residence for former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ended with his party’s MP Ashok Mittal. Kejriwal will look after the work related to his assembly and party while staying at the official residence of Ashok Mittal under New Delhi Assembly.
