Gadkari raised questions on girl sister scheme

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari says political things in a very shady manner. Even when he has to express his displeasure with the top leadership of BJP, he expresses his views very carefully. Recently he had advised that those in public life should be prepared for criticism. He had said this when his party was attacking Congress for saying derogatory things about Prime Minister Narendra Modi hundreds of times. Similarly, he also said that these days the space for disagreement is decreasing in the country. Then he has said twice that he had received a proposal from the opposition to make him the Prime Minister.

Now he has raised questions on the Girl Sister Scheme implemented in Maharashtra in a similar manner. He has said that such a huge subsidy is to be given in this scheme that it cannot be said whether subsidy or refund or other benefits available in other schemes will be available. He said that Rs 46 thousand crores are going to be spent every year on this scheme and due to this there may be a delay in subsidy of other schemes. This is a big ambitious plan of BJP, on which it has to win the Maharashtra elections. But before that, Gadkari is exposing it by calling it a financial aspect. This will also give the opposition an opportunity to raise questions on this plan of the Eknath Shinde government.
