Gaza. At least eight Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack on a school sheltering displaced people east of Gaza city. Israeli aircraft bombed the ‘Ibn al-Haitham’ school, a shelter for displaced people, in the Shuja’iyya area on Wednesday, Palestinian security sources reported. “Our teams have recovered the bodies of eight victims, including five children and two women, as a result of the Israeli airstrikes,” Gaza Civil Defense said in a press statement. Local sources and eyewitnesses reported that the airstrikes caused heavy damage to the school premises and classrooms.
