India-Bangladesh first test started, India lost second wicket within 50 runs

India-Bangladesh test: The first match of the Test series between India and Bangladesh has started which is being played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Bangladesh has won the toss and decided to bowl. Currently, the first session of the Test match between India and Bangladesh is going on. The Indian team has scored 14 runs on the loss of one wicket in the first innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill are at the crease.

India and Bangladesh did not achieve success in the first match of the Test series. Captain Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 6 runs. Hasan Mahmud got him caught by captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto standing at slip. Bangladesh has not been able to defeat India in a single Test so far. 13 Tests were played between the two, India won 11, while 2 matches were drawn. The first series between the two was played in the year 2000. India has won 7 out of the 8 series played so far, one was a draw.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill’s wickets fell

The Indian team has lost its first wicket. Captain Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 6 runs on the first ball of the sixth over. Hasan Mahmud got him caught by captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto standing at slip. Rohit wanted to stop the good length ball, he thought the ball would come in, but Mahmud’s ball swung outwards after the bounce and went to slip taking the outer edge of the bat. India has lost the second wicket within 50 runs. After captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill is also out. Gill could not even open the account. Hasan Mahmud got him caught by wicketkeeper Litton Das. Mahmud’s ball was going outside the leg stump from a good length, but Gill wanted to flick it. The ball touched the outer edge of the bat and went into wicketkeeper Das’ gloves.
