India's friend in the White House

In another speech of Trump which was widely telecast in India, he raised the issue of atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. Trump said that the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh are barbaric. Any leader of the world, When Trump did not stand in favor of the Hindus being tortured in Bangladesh. Is this a minor thing? Shouldn’t the people of India celebrate this?

Donald Trump is back. He is the first President in American history to make a comeback in 131 years. Trump has shown that he is a warrior by coming back from power after being president for four years and then losing in a very bitter election. He was impeached. There were many lawsuits. Convicted in trial. He was shot during election campaign. But he remained firm in the field and won the election. Russian President Vladimir Putin, who congratulated Trump more than 24 hours after the results, praised Trump’s courage and warrior spirit and said he was ready to talk about the Ukraine war with Trump. It needs to be kept in mind that Trump had said in the election campaign that he would stop the Ukraine war within an hour after becoming President. Both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are hoping to end the war after Trump’s victory. If this happens, imagine what a relief it will be for the world!

Every country in the world is watching and reacting to Trump’s return in its own way. The reaction of European countries, especially France and Germany, was calm but apprehensive. After Trump’s arrival, both Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Schulze are talking about the unity of the European Union. Britain’s reaction was normal but everyone knows that Labor Prime Minister Keir Starmer is no big fan of US President-elect Donald Trump. The President of China did not even personally congratulate him on his victory. Overall, there are two countries in the world, India and Israel, whose reaction to Trump’s victory was in real terms happiness and satisfaction. In the same manner of happiness and satisfaction, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi congratulated ‘his friend Donald Trump’. Immediately after the results, he congratulated them and after some time they also had a conversation, information about which was given by the Prime Minister himself on the social media platform X.

It is not surprising that common Indian citizens also celebrated Donald Trump’s victory. People of India shared videos of his speeches. His two speeches were shared the most. In one of his speeches, Trump said, ‘I am a big fan of Hindus. I am a big fan of India. If I win the election, a true friend of Hindus and Indians will be in the White House. He further said, ‘Many generations of Indian Hindus have played a big role in strengthening our country America’. In the 256-year history of presidential elections in America, no President has said so many positive, meaningful and good things about India and Hindus. In another speech of Trump which was widely telecast in India, he raised the issue of atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. Trump said that the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh are barbaric. When no leader of the world stood up in support of the Hindus being tortured in Bangladesh, it was Trump. Is this a minor thing? Shouldn’t the people of India celebrate this?

There are many reasons for Indians to celebrate Trump’s victory. One reason is that he has very good personal relations with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He has always been praising the Prime Minister and has said on many occasions that Shri Narendra Modi can do anything to protect the interests of India. The chemistry of the personal relationship between the two leaders was visible in the ‘Howdy Modi’ program held in Houston, Texas and the ‘Namaste Trump’ program held in Ahmedabad. In one programme, slogans of Modi, Modi in America were raised and in the other, slogans of Trump, Trump in India were raised. The interests of the leaders of the world’s two largest and most vibrant democratic countries appear to have converged. Trump’s victory and his close relationship with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi guarantee that those who harm the interests of India and Hindus anywhere in the world will not be spared.

The world knows that the country most affected by terrorism is India. A neighboring country of India has been waging a proxy war for decades. Troubled by India’s growing prestige and strengthening economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, many global powers have engaged in anti-India activities. Anti-India activities are being carried out from the soil ranging from America to Britain and Canada. Help is being given to those who want to break India into pieces. Separatists are getting shelter. Donald Trump’s strict policy on terrorism will curb such activities. The forces campaigning against India sitting in Canada and America will be weakened. The path for extradition of separatists will also be cleared. The tension that has arisen in recent times with America will reduce.

After America, it is the turn of change of power in Canada. Donald Trump’s most vocal supporter and world’s richest industrialist Elon Musk has said that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will lose in the next election. It is noteworthy that Musk had risked everything in support of Trump. Musk did what no businessman in the world would have ever done in politics. He spent millions of dollars in Trump’s campaign. It was Musk who created the atmosphere of Trump by announcing to give one million dollars to one voter every day in early voting. Then, even before the voting held on November 5, more than eight crore votes were cast in early voting and the basis for Trump’s victory had already been laid. Musk supported Trump in the ideas of freedom of expression, unfettered trade, commitment to democracy and anti-terrorism. With this in mind, they will also make arrangements for the departure of the Trudeau government in Canada. Imagine how pleasant it will be for India that Justin Trudeau, who has ruined the relations between India and Canada with his foolish and selfish politics, will leave.

Donald Trump has always considered Pakistan a corrupt country. He had stopped his help when he was President. Pakistan has started getting help again under Joe Biden’s rule. But now there is every possibility that Pakistan will again be isolated under the rule of Donald Trump. He will not get any help from America. Moreover, the help Pakistan is getting from institutions like the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will also be stopped. It is a matter of common strategic sense that if the financial aid to Pakistan is stopped then the terrorism network flourishing there will be broken and India will be the biggest beneficiary of this. This will weaken the ongoing proxy war against India. Similarly, after becoming President, Trump will try to normalize relations between Israel and Arab countries like in his first term. If relations between America, Israel and Arab countries are normalized then it will be good for India from both strategic and economic point of view.

Trump’s relations with Russia and China are complicated. But despite this complication, whatever policy they adopt will definitely benefit India. The way Russian President Putin has shown his attitude towards Trump, it seems that normalization will begin in the relations between Russia and America. Relations between the two remained tense during the Biden administration. Then India also faced difficulties in its business or strategic relations with its old and tried friend Russia. Recently news came that America had blacklisted 19 Indian companies because they were doing business with Russia. Such incidents will not happen during Trump’s tenure. This will strengthen India’s economic and defense relations with Russia. Similarly, Trump has said that he will impose 200 percent import duty on Chinese products. Trump would like to end the status of China as the world’s factory and in such a situation, his and the world’s first choice would be India. If trade with China decreases then trade with India may increase. This will also pave the way for new units for manufacturing other products including semi-conductors in India.

If we talk about strategic matters, India’s relations with America are still good. Recently India has signed an agreement to purchase arms worth Rs 32 thousand crore from America. India is buying 31 Predator drones. But under Trump’s rule, India can also get America’s special fighter aircraft F-35. If India gets F-35 fighter aircraft after Rafale, then it can be estimated how much India’s air defense power will increase. India’s relations with Quad to Five Eyes countries will improve and intelligence sharing with these countries will also increase. So, whether it is a matter of Hindu interests or India’s economic, strategic or diplomatic strength, Trump will prove to be a true friend of India on every front.
