New Delhi. The online passenger service system of the country’s largest airline company Indigo Airlines was down for about six hours on Saturday. After six hours it started at around 6 pm. The airline’s system came to a standstill at around 12 noon on Saturday, October 5. After six hours, at 6 pm, the airline said on social media platform X – Our airport systems are now operational and our airport services have become smooth.
Along with this, the company said- However, we request you to support us while restoring our other apps. It may take some time to regain complete normalcy. During the time Indigo’s system was down, people were not able to book and check-in airline tickets online. Due to this, flight and ground services at the airports were also affected.
Due to Indigo’s passenger service system being down, long queues of passengers were seen at airports across the country. Information was given by the airline about the problem, but due to no alternative arrangements being made for the passengers, they kept waiting at the airports for hours. A few days before this, a similar glitch had occurred with Microsoft’s system and many services were affected.
