BJP is trying all the tricks in the Haryana assembly elections. It does not want to lose power in Haryana, which is adjacent to Delhi, at any cost. There are many reasons for this. Firstly, a large part of it falls in NCR, so it becomes very important politically. Delhi has assembly elections next year, in which BJP will fight with all its might. If it loses in Haryana before that and a Congress government is formed, it will have a big impact on the Delhi elections. Secondly, when the power of Haryana goes into the hands of Congress, the strength of the Congress organization also increases. Then Congress becomes capable of gathering sufficient crowd in any rally or demonstration in Delhi. Another reason is that if BJP loses in Haryana, there will be noise about the failure of 10 years of double engine government, which will also affect other states.
That is why it is being said that BJP is trying all the tricks to win for the third time. One of the tricks is to divide the votes of Congress. A statement by former minister and Haryana Lokhit Party leader Gopal Kanda gives some idea of BJP’s strategy. He is contesting from Sirsa in alliance with Indian National Lok Dal and BSP. He said that after winning the election, he will form the BJP government. He also said that INLD and BSP will also form the BJP government in the state. However, INLD has denied this. But it is being said that this statement can benefit that alliance. Where BJP is not strong, BJP supporters can go with this alliance. Anyway, Dushyant Chautala’s JJP and Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party alliance is also being called BJP’s proxy and Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party is also being considered a proxy.
