NCP founder and Maharashtra’s biggest leader Sharad Pawar has made a big claim. He has said for his grandson Rohit Pawar that he can be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Although Sharad Pawar has not said that Rohit Pawar is being made the face of his party in this election, he can become the Chief Minister after this election. But his announcement is a big deal amidst the ongoing tussle in Maha Vikas Aghadi regarding the face of the Chief Minister. Keep in mind that while Congress is claiming that it will become the Chief Minister, its party is considering Uddhav Thackeray as the most natural contender because Maha Vikas Aghadi was formed for the first time to make him the Chief Minister.
However, it is believed that Sharad Pawar has put forward the name of Rohit Pawar to spoil Ajit Pawar’s game. Recently, Ajit Pawar expressed regret for breaking the party and family and also expressed regret for making his wife contest the elections against Supriya Sule. Its objective was to attract Maratha votes supporting Sharad Pawar. Sensing this stake, Sharad Pawar has put forward the name of Rohit Pawar.
Their aim is to give the message that Maratha people should vote not for Ajit Pawar but for the much younger Rohit as CM. He has also given the message that not his daughter, but his grandson Rohit Pawar is his successor. In this way, Sharad Pawar is blocking the path of Ajit Pawar as well as his son Parth Pawar. Keep in mind that Ajit Pawar is very hurt by the fact that in an election, NCP had got more seats than Congress, yet Sharad Pawar gave the post of Chief Minister to Congress instead of making him the CM.
