Beirut. Israel has started a limited level of ground military action, intensifying its campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel was still carrying out air strikes in Lebanon, after which it had also started preparations to launch a ground attack. According to the post, a few hours ago, in accordance with the decision of the political leadership, the Israeli army (IDF) has launched limited and targeted ground attacks based on accurate intelligence against Hezbollah terrorist targets and infrastructure in southern Lebanon. These bases are located in villages near the border and pose an immediate threat to Israel’s northern areas. The post further said the IDF is operating according to a systematic plan set by the General Staff and Northern Command, for which IDF soldiers have trained and prepared in recent months.
These ground operations are being supported by Israeli Air Force and artillery in carrying out precise strikes and targeting military targets. It has been told in the post that these campaigns are being carried out completely as per political decisions. This operation, named “Northern Arrows”, will continue depending on the situation and in parallel with the ongoing conflict in Gaza and other areas. It is further stated that the IDF is taking every possible step to fulfill the war objectives and ensure the safety of Israeli citizens, so that the people of northern Israel can safely return to their homes. It is noteworthy that Hezbollah has said that it will take full action in lieu of any ground military action by Israel.
