Tel Aviv. On Sunday, October 6, a day before the completion of one year of the Hamas attack on Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video message saying that Iran’s attack will definitely be avenged. However, on October 6, Israel was once again attacked with rockets and missiles by Hamas and Hezbollah. Israel said that most of the rockets were shot in the air and the rest fell in empty areas. Meanwhile, a gunman opened fire in Israel, killing at least one person and injuring 10 people.
However, Netanyahu said in his video message – Our country is fighting a war on seven fronts. We are protecting our country from the attacks of Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, West Bank terrorists, Houthi of Yemen and Shia militants of Iraq, Syria. Reiterating Israel’s right to self-defense, Netanyahu said that he will definitely take revenge for the ballistic missile attack by Iran. Israel will definitely attack Iran.
On the other hand, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant has said that their airbase was not even damaged in the Iranian attack. Gallant visited Nevatim airbase on Sunday. Iran had targeted this airbase in the attack on October 1 and said that it had destroyed it. However, the Israeli Defense Force said on Saturday that it had destroyed many command centers, weapons depots, tunnels and bases of Hezbollah. The IDF said they have killed 440 Hezbollah members since the ground operation began in Lebanon on September 30.
