New Delhi. Israel’s attack on Lebanon continues even after the death of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah. According to international media, 33 people have died in the Israeli attack. Meanwhile, Hezbollah has said that the body of Hassan Nasrallah has been found. Medical and security teams recovered Nasrallah’s body from the attack site. Hezbollah also confirmed that another top commander, Ali Karaki, was killed in the same attack.
However, according to reports, there are no direct marks of attack on Hassan Nasrallah’s body. Shock caused by the loud explosion is believed to be the reason behind his death. Meanwhile, on Sunday, Israel deployed tanks on the border with Lebanon. Qatar’s channel ‘Aljazeera’ has released their pictures. On the other hand, the US Defense Ministry has said that it was aware of the attack on Nasrallah. Israel had informed him after the fighter planes took off for the operation. However, Israel has claimed that it had sent a message to America even before starting the operation.
According to a report, Israel continued the attack on Saturday and Sunday, in which 33 people died and about two hundred people were injured. The American newspaper ‘New York Times’ has claimed in its report that Israel had sent eight fighter planes on September 27 to kill Nasrallah. Through these, 15 bombs worth two thousand pounds were dropped on the headquarters of Hezbollah. According to the report, these were American-made BLU 109 bombs, which are also called bunker busters. They are capable of going into the bunker at the location and causing explosions.
However, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency, 17 people of the same family have died in the Israeli attack on Sunday. Israel carried out this attack in Jabud city of Bekaa Valley in the north of Lebanon. After the attack, relief and rescue workers are busy searching for living people under the debris. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati held an emergency cabinet meeting after the Israeli attack. He told that so far about 10 lakh people have become homeless amid the ongoing Israeli attacks for 12 days. This is the largest displacement ever in the history of Lebanon.
