A new chapter started in Nahargarh Biological Park spread over 30 hectares. When Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the Tiger Safari for the general public. Now tourists will also be able to enjoy tiger safari here. Tourists will now be able to see tigers closely on a 7 KM long track. With this new safari, Jaipur has become the first city in the country where 4 different safaris can be enjoyed. CM named the tiger cubs
The special thing is that this is the first tiger safari of Rajasthan, which has been started in the zoo. During this safari, tourists will be able to see two tigresses – Bhakti and Jasmine, as well as the tiger Gulab. During the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister also named two tiger cubs born in the biological park. The male cub was named Bhima and the female cub was named Skandhi. Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over an area of 5240 hectares, out of which Nahargarh Biological Park has been developed in 720 hectares. Rs 453 lakh has been spent on this tiger safari, which was started with the joint efforts of the Forest Department and JDA.
Tiger safari started for the first time in the zoo
The Chief Minister said that the safari will promote the conservation and promotion of tigers. 3 National Parks, 26 Sanctuaries, 36 Conservation Reserves and 4 Biological Parks have been developed in the state. Their population is increasing due to tiger conservation efforts. There are about 130 tigers in Rajasthan. JDA has developed two new parks in Jaipur.
Nagar Van in Zerota and Biodiversity Park near Nevata. This will benefit 5 lakh population. Instructions were also given to prepare an action plan for lighting and water for wildlife and proper maintenance in the organic park. UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma, Amer MLA Prashant Sharma, Mayor Kusum Yadav, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Arijit Banerjee etc. were present.
