Kane Williamson will not even play the third test against India

Wellington. Kane Williamson, who is suffering from a groin injury, will not play in the third and final Test against India starting from November 1 in Mumbai. New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has said that the Kiwi batsman will not travel to India for the third Test to ensure Williamson’s fitness for the upcoming three-Test series against England. NZC quoted New Zealand coach Gary Stead as saying that Kane’s condition has improved significantly but he is not completely ready to join us at this time. So in our view he should rehab in New Zealand now so that he can be ready for the series against England.

The three-Test series against England is scheduled to begin on November 28 in Christchurch. Williamson suffered this injury during the Sri Lanka tour, due to which Williamson could not be a part of the first two Test matches against India. However, New Zealand has already won the ongoing Test series between India and New Zealand. New Zealand is currently leading 2-0 and this is also New Zealand’s first Test series win in India. India has lost a Test series at home for the first time in 12 years.
