Mumbai. Kangana Ranaut announced the news of the demise of her grandmother Indrani Thakur through social media. Grandmother was more than 100 years old. The actress told that her entire family is saddened by her grandmother’s departure. Kangana said that grandmother was very important in her life. Kangana posted a picture of herself sitting with her grandmother and wrote, “Last night, my grandmother Indrani Thakur ji passed away. The entire family is in mourning. Please pray for them. In her next follow-up post, Ranaut reminisced how her grandmother strived to ensure that her daughters were not only educated but also career-conscious after marriage. He wrote that my grandmother was an extraordinary woman, she had 5 children. Nana ji had limited resources, yet he ensured that all his children received higher education in good institutions, and he insisted that his married daughters should also work and pursue careers.
His daughters also got government jobs, which was a special achievement at that time. He was very proud of his children’s careers.
