New Delhi. On Saturday, the second day after his release from Tihar Jail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reached the ancient Hanuman temple in Connaught Place. On Saturday morning, Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal visited the temple. Aam Aadmi Party leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh were also with them. It is worth noting that even after winning the election, Kejriwal had come to worship in this temple. Before him, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh had also worshiped in this temple after being released from jail.
However, after offering prayers at Hanuman temple on Saturday morning, Arvind Kejriwal reached Rajghat. There he paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s Samadhi. It is worth mentioning that after getting bail from the Supreme Court, Kejriwal came out of jail on Wednesday. When he came out of jail, fireworks were burst outside Tihar Jail. An FIR has been registered against unknown people in Delhi’s Civil Lines police station regarding this. Actually, due to pollution in Delhi, burning of firecrackers is banned till January 1, 2025.
It is noteworthy that Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court in the CBI case on Friday, 13 September morning and he came out of Tihar Jail at around 6:15 pm. After coming out, he said- Every drop of my blood is for the country. My life is dedicated to the country. These people thought that they will break my spirit by putting me in jail.
