In a way, former Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has taken over the command of BJP in the Haryana Assembly elections. He played the biggest role in ticket distribution and he played an important role in getting tickets for INLD, JJP, Congress etc. leaders by including them in the party. He is also doing the most publicity. Due to all these reasons, they are also the target. The opposition party, especially Congress, is fighting by targeting him. He says that due to the increased preference given by BJP to Khattar, the anti-incumbency case against him has remained intact. That means, due to Khattar’s activism, Naib Singh Saini’s move is not working very well. However, BJP will still get votes from backward castes.
Meanwhile, one day Khattar invited Kumari Shailja of Congress to join the party. When Shailja was sitting angry, Khattar invited Shailja to give a message to the Dalit voters. But just a day later, Shailaja attacked Khattar in front of the media and said that like her father, she will leave wrapped in the Congress tricolor. She made it clear that she is not leaving Congress. Congress benefited from this and BJP was disgraced. After this, one day a young man said in Khattar’s meeting that BJP will win in Haryana but it will not have an MLA in Hisar. Khattar became so enraged at this that he threw the young man out of the room. BJP is also on the back foot due to its video going viral. So, many party leaders are targeting him. If BJP loses, the blame will fall solely on Khattar.
