New Delhi. On Monday, October 7, Lalu Prasad and the rest of his family members got bail in the case of giving job in Railways in exchange of land. The court has granted bail to some nine accused. Everyone got bail from Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each. The court has directed everyone to submit their passports. The next hearing will be held on October 25.
In this case, Lalu Prasad’s family appeared in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap and Misa Bharti had reached the court for the hearing. For the first time, Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav was summoned by the court in this case. Lalu Prasad had reached Delhi from Patna on Sunday with his daughters Misa and Rohini to appear in the court. Tej Pratap was already present in Delhi. Tejashwi had reached Delhi from Dubai late on Sunday night.
In retaliation to this case, Tejashwi Yadav attacked BJP and said – these people keep on doing political conspiracies again and again. The central government is misusing the agencies. There is no merit in this case. Whatever BJP does with everyone, it is doing the same with us also. Our victory is certain. Lok Sabha member Misa Bharti said- We have full faith in the court. We thank the court for the decision that has come today.
