Left is more needed than RJD

After announcing the coordination in Jharkhand, BJP has also announced almost all its tickets, but on the other hand, there is discord going on within the opposition alliance ‘India’ over the distribution of seats. JMM and Congress held a joint press conference and announced that their candidates will contest on 70 out of 81 seats in the state and the remaining 11 seats will be divided between RJD and Left Front. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav pouted at this. He said that JMM and Congress have unilaterally announced seat sharing. However, it is being said that out of the 11 seats left, RJD candidates will contest on seven and Left Front candidates will contest on four.

It is worth noting that in the last election also, seven candidates were left for RJD but only one of its candidates won. Think, when there was such a good environment for the opposition, in which JMM won 30 by fighting on 43 seats and Congress won 16 by fighting on 31 seats, whereas RJD got only one seat out of seven. RJD itself proved to be the weak link. Still it wants more than seven seats. It is a reality that RJD has no capital in Jharkhand. There Yadav’s vote does not go to RJD, but goes to BJP. BJP’s Annapurna Yadav is a minister at the Center while Neera Yadav was a minister in the Raghubar government. Therefore, according to law, JMM and Congress should reduce RJD’s seats and give more seats to the Left. Left has a good influence from Hazaribagh to Koderma and also in Palamu area. JMM, Congress have made a mistake by leaving seven seats for RJD. If he is allowed to contest separately, perhaps he may be able to cut some votes from the BJP.
