Liquor Cheap Prize: There is good news for the liquor lovers who are troubled by the ever increasing prices. But this news is not for the people of Rajasthan but for the people of Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu government of Andhra Pradesh has given a relief news to the liquor lovers.

For the people troubled by the ever-increasing prices of liquor, the government has implemented a new policy, under which the people of the state will now get cheap liquor. With this step, the people of the state will get relief from the rising prices of liquor and they will have fun, because now liquor will be available to them at affordable rates.

The new rules come into effect from October 1

A new liquor policy is going to be implemented in Andhra Pradesh from October 1. This policy was approved in the State Cabinet meeting held in Amaravati on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Under the new policy, the state government has reduced the prices of all brands of liquor. Now people of the state will be able to buy liquor of any brand for just Rs 99. These new rules will be effective from the beginning of next month, i.e. from October 1 (Liquor Cheap Prize)

According to a report by The Hindu, after the implementation of the new policy of the Andhra Pradesh government, customers will be able to buy a 180 ml pack of any established brand of liquor for just Rs 99. The Andhra Pradesh government says that it has tried to ensure quality, quantity and affordability in preparing the new liquor policy.

Shops can be opened till 10 pm

Many other major changes have also been made in the new policy. Now liquor shops in Andhra Pradesh will be given licenses for 2 years through lottery system. Liquor shops in the state will now go into private hands. The government has also decided to increase the opening time of these shops. After the implementation of the new rule, liquor shops in Andhra Pradesh can be opened from 10 am to 10 pm.

20 percent profit to those running the shop

Under the new policy, an application fee of Rs 2 lakh will be charged to get the license, which will not be refundable. Four slabs have been fixed for the license fee, which range from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 85 lakh. 10 percent of the shops will be reserved for toddy tappers. There is also a target to open 15 premium liquor shops in the state, which will be given license for 5 years. Under the new policy, those running liquor shops will get 20 percent of their sales as profit.

The government’s income will increase by this much

The Naidu government believes that the implementation of the new liquor policy will lead to a tremendous increase of about Rs 2 thousand crore in the revenue of Andhra Pradesh. Along with this, the Andhra Pradesh government feels that the new policy will also help in controlling crimes in the state. This change is also expected to curb liquor smuggling in the state.
