Darbhanga. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Darbhanga in Bihar on Wednesday, 13 November, where he laid the foundation stone of AIIMS. In Darbhanga, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 12 thousand crores. However, more than the inauguration and foundation stone laying of the projects, what was discussed more was the fact that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar once again bowed down and touched the feet of Prime Minister Modi.
However, the state’s second AIIMS with 750 beds will be built on 187 acres of land in Shobhan Bypass of Darbhanga. The government had approved AIIMS in Darbhanga in 2019-20. Along with laying its foundation stone, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the Darbhanga Railway Bypass Line built at a cost of Rs 389 crore along with three newly built railway stations. Prime Minister Modi virtually inaugurated Kakarghati Railway Station, Darbhanga Bypass Halt near Delhi Mor and Shiso Railway Station.
After the inauguration and foundation stone laying, Prime Minister Modi addressed a gathering at Shobhan Bypass. He started his address in Maithili. He paid tribute to Sharda Sinha from the stage. Modi said- Sharda Sinha ji spread the glory of Chhath to the whole world through her songs. I also pay tribute to Bihar Kokila Sharda Sinha, daughter of the land of Mithila. The Prime Minister praised the Nitish government profusely. Nitish Kumar also made people salute and support the Prime Minister by raising their hands.
