Kazan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has offered to help end the war between Russia and Ukraine. In his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Modi said that India is ready to provide all kinds of help to end the war. The Prime Minister once again reiterated that India is in favor of peace and the solution to any problem is not possible through war but only through dialogue. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi has reached the Russian city of Kazan to participate in the BRICS conference.

Prime Minister Modi reached Kazan on Tuesday, where he held bilateral talks with Russian President Putin on the sidelines of the BRICS summit. During this, both the leaders hugged each other. On this occasion, Putin said to Modi – Our relations are so good that you understand what I say without a translator. This is Prime Minister Modi’s second visit to Russia in four months. Earlier, when he had gone to Russia in July, he had advised Putin that peace was not possible with bombs, guns and bullets. After this he also went on a tour of Ukraine and met President Voldomir Zelensky.

However, in his meeting with Putin in Kazan on Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi once again clarified India’s stand on the Ukraine war. He said- Every problem should be solved peacefully. Russia and Ukraine war will stop only through talks. India is ready to provide every help in resolution of the conflict. Modi said- Every effort of India is in support of humanity. We want restoration of peace as soon as possible.

Earlier, when Modi reached Kazan airport, he was welcomed in a traditional manner with laddus and bread and salt. A large number of NRIs were also present to welcome him. After this, on reaching the hotel in Kazan, he also saw the dance of Russian artists wearing Indian costumes. Earlier in July, Prime Minister Modi had come to participate in the summit of India and Russia.

Prime Minister Modi will attend dinner with BRICS leaders on Tuesday evening. During dinner he may have informal conversations with many world leaders. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the BRICS meeting on Wednesday. This will happen in two sessions. First thing in the morning, the initial session will be held in a closed room. After this there will be an open session in the evening. It is being said that the Prime Minister will also hold bilateral talks with some leaders. BRICS is an organization of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
