Modi spoke to Netanyahu

New Delhi. Three days after Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and his number two Ali Karaki were killed in an Israeli attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over telephone. The conversation between the two leaders is very important given the situation in West Asia after the killing of Nasrallah. However, Modi and Netanyahu discussed the situation in West Asia. Modi told Netanyahu that there is no place for terrorism in the world.

The Prime Minister himself gave this information through a post on social media platform X. He wrote on X- Spoke to Prime Minister Netanyahu and discussed recent developments in West Asia. There is no place for terrorism in our world. It is important to contain regional tensions and ensure the safe release of all hostages. Modi wrote- India is committed to supporting efforts for early restoration of peace and stability.

This is the second conversation between Modi and Netanyahu in the last one and a half months. Earlier on August 16, there was a phone conversation between the two leaders. Even at that time, Prime Minister Modi had asked the Israeli Prime Minister to end the war with Hamas through talks and diplomacy. Along with this, emphasis was also laid on immediate release of all hostages and ceasefire.
