Modi will talk to Xi Jinping

Kazan. Bilateral talks can be held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS conference. On Monday, a day before Prime Minister Modi left for Russia, the Foreign Ministry had said that an agreement has been reached between India and China regarding patrolling in Ladakh. Besides, both the countries have also agreed on the formula to reduce the tension that has arisen since April 2020. After this, on Tuesday China also said that an agreement has been reached on important issues.

However, after the agreement on reducing tension with China and patrolling the border, it is being speculated that talks between Prime Minister Modi and President Xi Jinping may take place. If this happens then both the leaders will talk to each other after two years. The two last met in 2022 during the G20 conference in Bali, Indonesia. However, both the leaders also participated in the BRICS conference held in Johannesburg, South Africa last year.
