Nitish Kumar is in a 'dormant state': Tejashwi Yadav

Patna. Leader of Opposition in Bihar Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday took a dig at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He says that Nitish Kumar is in a dormant state. Tejashwi Yadav has also raised questions about the transfer of officers and law and order. Tejashwi Yadav shared a picture of a newspaper cutting on the social media platform X and wrote, “Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is in a ‘dormant state’. Due to rampant crime and ruined law and order in the state, hundreds of people are being murdered every day by the government, but instead of taking any action or transferring any police officer, they are being posted in crime-prone districts / areas for a long period, until the dividend is received on the amount invested at the time of posting. Nitish Kumar’s police is not preventing crime but is busy in money laundering in the name of prohibition.

These incidents of murders are only the police figures of Patna city (not Patna district), but the truth is many times more horrifying than this. It is written in the newspaper cutting that till June this year, there have been 175 incidents of murder, 108 of robbery, 23 of dacoity, 489 of theft in house and 2936 incidents of vehicle theft in Patna. Let us tell you that the opposition is constantly targeting Nitish Kumar’s government regarding law and order in the state. The opposition alleges that there has been an increase in criminal incidents in the state. Tejashwi Yadav is directly meeting the workers through the Karyakarta Aabhar program these days. Tejashwi Yadav started the journey from Samastipur on Tuesday. The first phase of the Karyakarta Samvad program will run from September 10 to September 17.
