PM on a three day visit to Gujarat

Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived on a visit to his home state Gujarat after addressing a BJP rally in Jharkhand. He will stay in Gujarat for three days and will leave for Odisha from Ahmedabad on the morning of his birthday on September 17. Prime Minister Modi arrived in Ahmedabad on Sunday evening at 6:30 pm on a three-day visit to Gujarat. He was welcomed at the airport by Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Water Resources Minister CR Patil.

The Prime Minister left for Vadsar by road from the airport, where he inaugurated the new operation complex of the Air Force. After this, he reached Gandhinagar Raj Bhavan, where he met BJP leaders. He will stay at the Raj Bhavan at night. On Monday, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate several projects worth about eight thousand crore rupees in Ahmedabad. In the afternoon, he will inaugurate the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project and travel from the metro station to Gujarat International Finance Tech City i.e. GIFT City. Later he will inaugurate the second phase of the Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar Metro Train Service.

The Prime Minister will leave for Odisha on 17 September at around 9 am. He will interact with the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban at 11:15 am in Bhubaneswar. After this, in the afternoon, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various development projects costing more than Rs 4,000 crore in Bhubaneswar.
