Poster politics heats up in UP before by-elections

Lucknow. Poster politics has heated up amid by-elections being held on nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party has explained the meaning of ‘Bantenge to Katenge’ through posters, while BJP’s ally Nishad Party has tried to express its importance in 2027. The poster war has raised the temperature in UP politics. Earlier, on the occasion of the birthday of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, the Nishad Party, while hitting back at SP’s ‘ruler Akhilesh of 27’, got many posters put up in the capital calling Cabinet Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad as the ‘Khevanhaar of 27’.

After this, once again SP has hit back on the slogan of ‘Katenge to Batenge’. His poster read ‘Neither divide nor cut, the haters will go away in 2027’. The posters put up by SP leader Ranjit Kumar are going viral. In it, he has countered BJP’s ‘If we divide, we will cut’. He wrote, ‘Neither divide nor cut, the haters will move away in 2027’. If Hindus and Muslims remain united then they will remain righteous. In the by-elections being held on nine seats of UP, BJP is contesting on eight seats and RLD on one seat, while BJP’s ally Nishad Party was also demanding seats, but it did not get the seat.

Its leaders are also busy giving messages through hoardings. On behalf of his party leader Brijendra Kumar Tripathi, hoardings have been put up in the main areas of the capital. It is written in it, ‘The slogan of 2027 is Nishad, Sahara’. Diwali greetings have been given in this. This hoarding has been installed in the capital Lucknow, in front of the Chief Minister’s residence, SP office and near the house of Minister Sanjay Nishad. The party is demonstrating its strength through these hoardings put up by Bijendra Kumar Tripathi. This has intensified the political stir in Lucknow, and has hinted at placing a condition of support on BJP for the 2027 assembly elections. In the press conference held with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak regarding the by-elections, Dr. Sanjay Nishad said that we do not want seats in NDA, but victory.

Nishad community needs rights. BSP-SP kept the issue of reservation pending. We do not claim seats in the interest of the country and society. It is known that voting for nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh will be held on November 13, while the results will come on November 23. For this, all the parties have fielded their candidates. Congress is not participating in this by-election. She has announced support for Samajwadi Party.
