President Draupadi Murmu reached Chhattisgarh on a two-day visit.

Raipur. President Draupadi Murmu reached Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur on Friday on a two-day stay. She will participate in various programs organized in the capital. President Draupadi Murmu reached Raipur by special plane. He was warmly welcomed by Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at Swami Vivekananda Airport. As per the schedule, President Draupadi Murmu will attend the convocation ceremony of AIIMS and NIT of the capital Raipur today. After this, she will inaugurate Surguja block in Purkhauti Muktangan complex located in Nava Raipur and will release the amount of 9th installment to 70 lakh women under Mahtari Vandan Scheme of Chhattisgarh Government and will discuss with the beneficiaries of this scheme. On the second day of her two-day stay, President Murmu will visit Lord Jagannath at Jagannath Temple in Raipur on October 26 and will also attend the convocation ceremony of IIT Bhilai and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Science and AYUSH University, Nava Raipur. Tight security arrangements have been made in view of the President’s visit to the capital of Chhattisgarh.

The administration has made special arrangements to keep the traffic system running smoothly. Security forces are deployed at various places and soldiers have been deployed to maintain orderly traffic. Let it be known that the phase of administrative preparations had started before the President’s visit. Instructions were given to ensure necessary arrangements in all educational institutions. Apart from this, Raipur and Durg District Administration, Public Works Department, Municipal Corporation, Public Health Engineering, Health Department, Police, State Protocol officials were also instructed to complete all the necessary preparations on time.
