Process to bring Anmol from America started

New Delhi. The process of bringing Anmol Bishnoi, accused in the firing case at actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai home, from America has started. On April 14 this year, two people riding a bike had opened fire at Salman’s house. Salman was present at home at that time. However, there was no loss of life or property in this firing. Anmol, the accused in this case, is the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, lodged in Sabarmati jail.

A senior officer of the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has said that the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act i.e. MCOCA Court has already issued a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of Anmol. The court has also issued a Red Corner Notice to search for him abroad. According to Mumbai Police, some court documents are currently being awaited, after which a formal proposal for extradition will be sent to the central government for further action.

The special court had approved his crime branch application on October 16. Hopefully the police will get the documents soon. Earlier on October 25, the National Investigation Agency, NIA, had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for the arrest of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence. It is noteworthy that apart from the firing at Salman’s house, Anmol is also an accused in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and former Mumbai MLA Baba Siddiqui.
