Punaura Dham will be decorated in NDA's double engine government: Chirag Paswan

Patna. LJP (Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s relationship with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar seems to be improving. Chirag Paswan said on Monday that in the NDA’s double engine government, Mother Sita’s birthplace Punaura Dham will be decorated and beautified. He also thanked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for writing a letter to PM Narendra Modi to connect Punaura Dham by rail and road. LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan wrote on the social media platform X that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has urged the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a letter to connect Mother Sita’s birthplace Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi to Lord Shri Ram’s birthplace Ayodhya Dham directly by road and rail, which is a welcome initiative.

He further said that this will respect the faith of crores of devotees of Mata Sita. This will not only promote tourism in Bihar, but will also increase revenue and our state will be established on the world stage. The development of Punaura Dham and the construction of a corridor from Ayodhya to Sitamarhi has been an important part of my party’s manifesto ‘Bihar First, Bihari First’. In such a situation, I express my gratitude to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on behalf of all Biharis for this visionary thinking. It is noteworthy that on Sunday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had written a letter to PM Modi and requested to connect Punaura Dham by road and rail. The work of beautification of this pilgrimage site is also going to start.
