New Delhi. Rahul Gandhi, who is facing attacks from BJP over his statements in America, broke his silence on Saturday. He said that BJP wants to silence him by intimidating him. It is worth mentioning that BJP has filed cases against Rahul in states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka etc. Indicating that he will stand by his statement on Sikh community, Rahul said that he wants to ask every member of Sikh community in India and abroad if they have done anything wrong and accused BJP of spreading lies.
Rahul Gandhi said on social media platform X that the BJP wants to silence him, but he will continue to stand for values like diversity, equality and love, which define India. Sharing a video clip of his statement, he said- BJP is spreading lies about my comments in America. I want to ask every Sikh brother and sister in India and abroad, is there anything wrong in what I have said? Shouldn’t India be a country where every Sikh and every Indian can freely practice their religion without fear?
Targeting the BJP, Rahul Gandhi further wrote- As always, the BJP is resorting to lies. They are desperate to silence me because they cannot tolerate the truth, but I will always speak about the values that define India, our unity in diversity, equality and love.
