Rahul did not come to pay tribute to Yechury 'Boss'

There is no news of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi again. There is radio silence about him. No one knows if he is in America or has gone somewhere else. He had a three-day official program in America. He reached Dallas in Texas, went to Virginia and Washington DC. He addressed the students at Georgetown University. Then he held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington DC. He met the representatives of the US Congress in Washington. It is not known where he went after that. For three days, news about him kept coming and there were controversies over him but there is no news since then. If he is somewhere on a personal trip or has a personal program, no information has been given about it.

Rahul Gandhi arrived in the US on 8 September for a three-day visit and all his programs were over by 10 September. But he did not return to India. Meanwhile, CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury died on 12 September. His body was kept at his residence in Vasant Kunj and on 14 September it was kept at the party headquarters in Gole Market. Rahul’s visit was completed on the 10th and it is possible that he had some other personal program. But he could have come to pay tribute to Sitaram Yechury. After all, he used to call Sitaram ‘boss’ and expressed his affection towards him. But when Rahul did not come, his mother and Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi paid tribute to Yechury. On behalf of BJP, National President JP Nadda went to the CPM headquarters and paid tribute to him.
