ED raided several places in Delhi and Mumbai on Friday. It is noteworthy that on Thursday, the Crime Branch had recovered 208 kg of cocaine from a rented shop in Ramesh Nagar area of West Delhi. Its price in the international market is more than two thousand crore rupees. Eight days before this, Delhi Police had seized drugs worth Rs 5.5 thousand crores.
The drugs seized on Thursday were hidden in packets of snacks. It was kept here by a person living in Britain. He had fled before the police raid. He had taken the shop on rent a few days ago for clothing business. Two people including the shop owner are being detained and interrogated. Earlier, 8 days ago, Delhi Police had raided and seized cocaine worth Rs 5,500 crore belonging to the same syndicate in Mahipalpur area.
Seven people have been arrested after drugs worth seven and a half thousand crore rupees were seized in Delhi in 10 days. The mastermind of this syndicate operating from Dubai has been identified as Virender Basoya. He has many businesses in Dubai. Police have issued a lookout circular against Basoya.
