Chennai. Superstar Rajinikanth, admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, will be discharged on Friday. The doctors treating him have given this information. Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Monday. The hospital said in a statement that the actor had swelling in a blood vessel connected to his heart and was treated with a non-surgical trans-catheter method. The statement further said: “Senior interventional cardiologist Sai Satish placed a stent in the aorta which led to complete closure of the swelling (endovascular repair). We would like to inform his well-wishers and fans that the procedure went well. Rajinikanth’s condition is stable and he is fine. He can return home in the next two days. Earlier the hospital had said that he would be discharged on Thursday. According to the information, the actor will be discharged on Friday, although the hospital has not issued any official statement regarding this. Also in the year 2020, Rajinikanth was admitted to a private hospital due to fluctuations in his BP.
He was later discharged and advised a month’s rest. The Tamil actor also underwent Carotid Artery Revascularization Procedure in 2021. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called up the superstar’s wife Latha Rajinikanth and wished her speedy recovery. Tamil Nadu Governor R. N. Ravi and state Chief Minister M.K.
