Saini leader elected, will take oath today

Chandigarh. Naib Singh Saini will become the Chief Minister of Haryana. He was elected leader unanimously in the BJP Legislature Party meeting in Chandigarh on Wednesday. The legislature party meeting was held in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. After being elected as leaders, Amit Shah and Naib Singh Saini along with other leaders went to Raj Bhavan and staked claim to form the government. Saini will take oath as Chief Minister for the second time on Thursday, October 17. Many senior BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend his oath ceremony. Chief Ministers of many states will also participate in it.

Earlier in Wednesday’s meeting, MLA Krishna Bedi proposed the name of Naib Saini. Which was supported by Anil Vij and Aarti Rao. Then all the MLAs agreed to the name of Naib Saini. After this, Home Minister Amit Shah announced that Naib Saini was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislature party. Shah said- Since the establishment of Haryana, no Chief Minister has been successful for the third consecutive time. Under the leadership of young Naib Saini, we have been able to win the elections for the third time. Along with Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also present as an observer.

After this, Naib Saini went to Raj Bhavan along with Amit Shah and staked claim to form the government in front of Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. During this, three independent MLAs also submitted letters of support to BJP. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Shalimar Ground in Panchkula on Thursday at 11 am. Many big leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of states ruled by BJP and NDA allies will be present in it. It is noteworthy that out of 90 assembly seats in Haryana, BJP had won 48 seats.
