Navratri 2024: Sharadiya Navratri is starting from 3rd October and will end on the day of Navami on 11th October. Vijayadashami i.e. Dussehra festival will be celebrated on the next day of Navami Tithi. Vijayadashami i.e. Dussehra festival will be celebrated on 12th October. Take care of hygiene

According to the scriptures, hair and beard should not be cut during Navratri. Do not cut nails during this period. Doing so can lead to inauspicious results.
Eat Satvik Food
Satvik food should be consumed during Navratri. During this time, do not use garlic and onion at home. Also, no one in the family should consume it.
One should not sleep during the day
People observing the fast should not sleep during the day. Apart from this, they should avoid speaking ill of anyone and bringing negative thoughts into their mind. It is believed that this can break the fast.
